Baseball Recap: Wheeling Comes Up Short

Wheeling managed to slip by Buffalo Grove the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 11-0 to the Bison on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wheeling's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Buffalo Grove, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Wheeling has already played their next contest (against Lake Forest Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Buffalo Grove will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against the Caxys, they'll take on Buffalo Grove again at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
