Soccer Recap: Savannah Arts Academy Takes a Loss

Savannah Arts Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Pierce County on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pierce County Bears by a score of 1-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Savannah Arts Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Pierce County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Savannah Arts Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Calvary Day on the 22nd. As for Pierce County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Fitzgerald on the 25th.
