Softball Recap: Moravia Takes a Loss

Moravia lost against Murray back in June, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mohawks fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5.

Moravia has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-23 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Murray, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Moravia will square off against Twin Cedars on Monday. As for Murray, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Seymour on the 3rd.
