It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marist had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Walnut Grove Warriors as they made off with an 11-4 victory. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 24 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the 14th in a row for Marist, bringing their record up to 29-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Walnut Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-14.

As of now, neither Marist nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
