Bishop Amat came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Serra, but Kali Carter wouldn't allow it. The Cavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 victory over the Lancers on Saturday for which the team can thank Carter, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds. Carter is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

The win (which was Serra's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. As for Bishop Amat, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
