Soccer Game Preview: Oceanside vs. El Camino

Oceanside hasn't had much luck against El Camino recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Oceanside Pirates will welcome the El Camino Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Oceanside's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Friday just wasn't the day for Oceanside's offense. They fell just short of Vista by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, El Camino kept a clean sheet against Sage Creek on Saturday. They blew past the Bobcats 3-0. Considering the Wildcats have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

El Camino is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matchups. As for Oceanside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-3.
