Thomasville lost to Berrien on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rebels a 1-0 shutout. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 20, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Jaelyn Oehlhof was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two triples and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.

Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Berrien, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomasville will challenge Fitzgerald at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berrien, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Miller County at 5:30 p.m.
