Prairie City-Monroe never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Lynnville-Sully Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Prairie City-Monroe pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lynnville-Sully, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Prairie City-Monroe will venture away from home to face off against Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lynnville-Sully, they will welcome Keota at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
