Soccer Recap: West Delaware Takes a Loss

West Delaware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Tama County Trojans, falling 5-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Delaware of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

West Delaware's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Tama County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Looking ahead, West Delaware will square off against Williamsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Tama County, they will take on Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Tama County are facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
