After losing to Pace Academy the last time they met, M.L. King decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions came out on top against the Knights by a score of 21-14 on Friday. The 21-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

M.L. King's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javion Dobbs, who threw for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Jamarcus Harper helped Dobbs out on the ground, rushing for 106 yards on only 14 carries.

M.L. King was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

M.L. King's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Pace Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

As for Pace Academy, they will welcome Drew at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace Academy will be up against Drew's rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
