Soccer Recap: Golden West Comes Up Short

Golden West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears, falling 6-1. The Trailblazers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Andrea Reyes, who's now up to two this season.

Golden West's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Sierra Pacific, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Golden West will venture away from home to take on Lindsay at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sierra Pacific, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Selma at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
