Baseball Recap: Rabun County Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rabun County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elbert County Blue Devils on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Tuesday, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Rabun County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Elbert County, they moved to 16-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rabun County beat the Blue Devils by a score of 5-4 later that day.
