Soccer Game Preview: Valmeyer vs. Wesclin

Valmeyer hasn't had much luck against Wesclin recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Valmeyer came up short against Gibault Catholic and fell 4-2.

Ripken Voelker wasn't going to let the Hawks walk away unscathed as he scored both of the Pirates' goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wesclin). They never let Valmeyer get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Wesclin with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Wesclin and bumps their season record up to 4-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Valmeyer, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
