Basketball Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

Westminster lost against Laguna Hills on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westminster Lions received a blow as they fell 48-31 to the Laguna Hills Hawks.

Westminster has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Laguna Hills, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Westminster will be playing in front of their home fans against Costa Mesa at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laguna Hills, they will square off against Garden Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Laguna Hills is facing Garden Grove at the right time seeing as Garden Grove is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
