Soccer Game Preview: Northeastern vs. Catholic Central

The Northeastern Jets will square off against the Catholic Central Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northeastern's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Northeastern lost 5-1 to Carlisle back in September.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catholic Central). Their defense stepped up to hand Trotwood-Madison a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. It was an even better day for Liam Shay as he scored three goals for his team.

Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-9-1.
