Lake Country Christian extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a blow against the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions, falling 56-7. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 49 points.

As for Grapevine Faith Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games.

Grapevine Faith Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Montes, who picked up 126 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 81 yards and one TD. Montes really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 88 yards. Jace Walker was in the mix as well, providing Grapevine Faith Christian with two scores.

Lake Country Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 65-19 defeat against Lubbock Christian on the 10th. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-15 loss against All S on the 10th.
