Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Grizzlies vs. Woodside Wildcats

The Jefferson Grizzlies will venture away from home to challenge the Woodside Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Jefferson turned things around against Oceana on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Sharks out 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Grizzlies have posted against the Sharks since February 5, 2020.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Woodside duked it out withTerra Nova on Wednesday. Woodside slipped by Terra Nova 38-37.

Woodside's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Jefferson, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Woodside in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 41-35 win.
