Baseball Recap: Credo Gets the Win

Credo won the last time they faced Summerfield Waldorf and things went their way on Friday too. The Gryphon came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 9-6.

Henry Humphreys made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Credo: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-13 otherwise.

In other batting news, Satchel Kizner was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Tommy Simmons, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Credo's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Summerfield Waldorf, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

As of now, neither Credo nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
