Softball Recap: Warner Robins Takes a Loss

Warner Robins had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it four. They lost 12-0 to the Northside Eagles. If the Demons were looking for revenge after losing 17-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Northside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

For Northside's part, Madi Burch and E'Vejia Burgman did most of the damage at the plate: Burch went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base, while Burgman went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Burch has posted since back in September of 2024. Rheanna Burke was another key player, earning two runs and three stolen bases.

Coincidentally, Warner Robins and Northside will both be playing Liberty County the next time they take the field. The Demons will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
