Softball Game Preview: Metter Tigers vs. Toombs County Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Metter is 1-8-1 against Toombs County since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Metter came up short against Pierce County on Wednesday, falling 11-3.

Meanwhile, Toombs County suffered their closest loss since September 9th on Monday. They fell just short of Appling County by a score of 4-2. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Toombs County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Metter, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Metter couldn't quite get it done against Toombs County when the teams last played back in September as they fell 9-5. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
