Albany waltzed into their game on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. Everything went their way against the Trenton Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Makena Moffat spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Whitney Sterkis was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marley Hansel, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Albany's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Trenton, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Albany didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Gallatin on the 27th. As for Trenton, they will head out on the road to challenge Lathrop at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Mules at the right time seeing as the Mules are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
