Softball Recap: Window Rock Victorious

Window Rock won the last time they faced Chinle and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Fighting Scouts walked away with a 6-1 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Scouts.

Robyn Billison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Mia Etsitty was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.

Window Rock's record is now 7-10-1. As for Chinle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Window Rock and Chinle will both be playing Mogollon the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Fighting Scouts will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
