Softball Recap: Sequoyah Victorious

Sequoyah took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Catoosa, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the Indians a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 31-23 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The victory got Sequoyah back to even at 3-3. As for Catoosa, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
