Basketball Game Preview: Otto-Eldred Terrors vs. DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals

The Otto-Eldred Terrors will take on the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Otto-Eldred didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Clarion-Limestone, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory. Given the Terrors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd in Pennsylvania, while the Lions are ranked 333rd in Pennsylvania), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only DuBois Central Catholic walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 50-30 margin over the Falcons on Wednesday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Otto-Eldred pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for DuBois Central Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.
