Softball Recap: Lovejoy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lovejoy can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Alexander Cougars on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lovejoy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Alexander, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

While Lovejoy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
