Bellevue East had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They never let the Kearney Bearcats get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Ariana Wells, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Bellevue East's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Kearney, their loss dropped their record down to 26-13.

As of now, neither Bellevue East nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
