Basketball Recap: State College Beats Central Dauphin for Their Fifth Straight Win

State College waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 53-44 win over the Central Dauphin Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-44 back in January.

Central Dauphin's loss came despite strong showings from Maya Dickerson and Olivia Green. Dickerson went 5 for 9 on her way to 15 points, while Green posted eight points along with six boards and five steals. That's the most points Dickerson has posted since back in November of 2024. Kayanah Taylor was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

State College pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Central Dauphin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

State College will face off against McDowell at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central Dauphin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
