Soccer Recap: New Ulm Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

New Ulm kept a clean sheet against Fairmont on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Cardinals. It was an even better day for Jackson Ocampo as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory (which was New Ulm's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Fairmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, New Ulm and Fairmont will both be playing Waseca the next time they take the pitch. The Cardinals will head out to face the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
