Soccer Game Preview: Moriarty vs. Taos

Moriarty hasn't had much luck against Taos recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pintos will head out to face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Moriarty will be strutting in after a victory while Taos will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Moriarty was able to grind out a solid win over Pojoaque Valley, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Moriarty in their matchups with Pojoaque Valley: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Taos was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Los Alamos. The loss was Taos' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Taos fell to 11-1. As for Moriarty, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

Moriarty might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Taos when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Pintos were down 4-0.
