Basketball Recap: Berkeley Takes a Loss

Berkeley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granada Matadors. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their loss to the Matadors from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

Berkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Granada, they pushed their record up to 7-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkeley will host San Lorenzo at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granada, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Amador Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
