Football Recap: Padua Franciscan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Padua Franciscan fell victim to Big Walnut and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 22nd).

Landon Hanover threw for 30 yards on six of 17 attempts.

This is the second loss in a row for Padua Franciscan and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Big Walnut, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Padua Franciscan will face off against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Walnut, they will challenge Worthington Kilbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
