For the second straight game, Lanier Christian Academy will face off against Young Americans Christian. The Lightning will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Lanier Christian Academy will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

On Monday, Lanier Christian Academy got the win against Young Americans Christian by a conclusive 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Young Americans Christian's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenneth Haynes, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another was Jack Sullivan, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lanier Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Young Americans Christian, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11.
