Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uniontown). They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Red Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Uniontown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lyric Mclee, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Tessa Nicholson, who scored ten points.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maleigha Younkin, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Younkin is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Mitchell, who had four points and 11 rebounds.

The victory got Uniontown back to even at 3-3. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Uniontown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-35 loss against Bethel Park on the 19th. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-56 win against Paw Paw on the 18th.
