Basketball Game Preview: Sultana Sultans vs. Serrano Diamondbacks

Sultana hasn't had much luck against Serrano recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sultana Sultans will be playing at home against the Serrano Diamondbacks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sultana is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Oak Hills on Tuesday. They were dealt a 56-13 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The match marked the Sultans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Daphne Lopez, who posted four points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Serrano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-28 heartbreaker at the hands of Apple Valley.

Sultana's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Serrano, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
