Baseball Recap: CrossPointe Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for CrossPointe Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against the Central Christian Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Cavaliers were not able to get on the board.

CrossPointe Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Sexton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave Sexton a new career-high.

CrossPointe Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Central Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, CrossPointe Christian Academy will face off against Covington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Christian, they will square off against Abundant Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Christian is facing Abundant Life Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Abundant Life Christian Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
