Soccer Recap: LaGrange Academy Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, LaGrange Academy was not quite St. George's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Athletes by a score of 2-1. LaGrange Academy has struggled against St. George's recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

LaGrange Academy's goal came courtesy of Owen Holstun, who's now up to six this season.

LaGrange Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. George's, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.

Coincidentally, LaGrange Academy and St. George's will both be playing Rock Springs Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. St. George's will head out to face Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while LaGrange Academy will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
