Douglass won the last time they faced North Clayton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Douglass Astros put the hurt on the North Clayton Eagles with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Astros have won five games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Royer Alejandro Bello, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Douglass: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 0-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Narious Barner, who scored a run and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-2.

The victory (which was Douglass' fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.8 runs. As for North Clayton, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Douglass will square off against Stephenson at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Douglass knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Stephenson likes a good challenge. As for North Clayton, they will take on Luella at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
