Baseball Recap: Shead Comes Up Short

Shead fell victim to Calais and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 two weeks ago.

Shead's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Calais, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Shead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calais, they will head out on the road to square off against Woodland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
