Volleyball Game Preview: Martin County Gators vs. Hertford County Bears

The Martin County Gators will head out to face off against the Hertford County Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hertford County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Martin County, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Martin County had just enough and edged out Northeastern 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Martin County got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-27, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Hertford County lost 3-0 to First Flight on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bears haven't been shut out since back in August.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

This is the second loss in a row for Hertford County and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Martin County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
