Football Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short

Washington County fell victim to Hanover and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 60-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Washington County and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Hanover, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Washington County will welcome Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hanover, they will head out to square off against Frankfort on Friday.
