Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Triumphs

Bishop Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Hays Indians by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Jonah Mull was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Bishop Carroll is undefeated when Mull posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jadan Hunter, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Hays, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Bishop Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Goddard on the 19th. Hays does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
