Baseball Game Preview: Kennett Eagles vs. Bow Falcons

Kennett is 0-7 against Bow since May of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Kennett will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Kennett came into this matchup off a tough nine-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Plymouth by a score of 11-9 on Wednesday.

Blake Royer made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Jonah Pepin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Bow had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pride as they made off with a 13-5 victory.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Bow, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
