Soccer Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Adairsville Tigers who were credited with the victory. The Adairsville Tigers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Pickens Dragons' two.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Adairsville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens will challenge Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Johnson their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Adairsville, they will take on Murray County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adairsville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
