Softball Recap: Cassville Comes Up Short

Cassville suffered their biggest loss since September 5, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Marshfield Bluejays, falling 14-2. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Cassville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marshfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Cassville will take on Carl Junction at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Marshfield, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Norwood at 4:30 p.m.
