If Desert Hot Springs wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Palm Springs, they should've done a better job of containing Shayla Bates. The Indians blew past the Golden Eagles 53-28 on Tuesday thanks in part to Bates, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Palm Springs' points.
