It was a good run, but Grant unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Southeast Spartans by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat two weeks ago.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Southeast, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5-2.

Grant has already played their next matchup, a 16-1 victory against Classen SAS on the 2nd. As for Southeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Nathan Hale on the 2nd.
