Soccer Recap: Tomball Comes Up Short

If Tomball was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Fort Bend Dulles on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Fulshear Chargers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Tomball's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Fulshear, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coming up, Tomball will be playing in front of their home fans against Magnolia West at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Magnolia West's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fulshear, they will challenge Alief Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Fulshear's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
