Soccer Recap: El Dorado Takes a Loss

El Dorado was the 3-1 winner over Union Mine when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The El Dorado Cougars fell just short of the Union Mine Diamondbacks by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Union Mine, they now have a winning record of 4-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will face off against Argonaut at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Argonaut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Union Mine, they will challenge Liberty Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Union Mine's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
