Woodland waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Adairsville Tigers with a sharp 8-1 win. Edwin Vazquez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Woodland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Adairsville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Woodland and Adairsville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the pitch they'll take on East Paulding at 7:45 p.m. on the 15th. As for Adairsville, their break will end when they face Douglas County at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
