Softball Recap: Walnut Grove Comes Up Short

Walnut Grove managed to slip by Montrose the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Blue Jays on Friday, falling 20-2. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Jays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Walnut Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Montrose, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Walnut Grove will square off against Humansville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montrose, they will face off against Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
